The Congress will admit original communications, not accepting communications presented at other scientific meetings or that have already been published.

Communications will be free and in Oral or Poster format.

The Scientific Committee will make the assessment and selection of communications, by assessing the scientific quality, originality and interest, practical application and clarity in the presentation of results, deciding whether the presentation should be by oral or poster communication.

Instructions for the preparation of summaries Print E-mail

The data requested will be filled in, especially the contact data, as any information related to the communications will be carried out by e-mail.

The summary will have a maximum of 400 words, be structured according to the usual order: introduction, objectives, material and methods, results, conclusions and/or discussion.

Graphs, figures, tables and bold type will not be accepted in the summary.

The use of abbreviations must be avoided when possible. If it’s absolutely necessary, the first time that an abbreviation is used, the complete term will be included in parenthesis.

 
Specific Rules - Oral communications Print E-mail

The maximum oral exhibition time will be 8 minutes.

The speaker may give the presentation in CD or Pen-drive format to the congress secretariat during the congress.

Oral presentation will only accept the Power Point format, with a maximum length of 18 slides. The first slide must show the name of the authors, indicating the speaker and the title of the paper presented.

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to gather additional information on the oral communication presented, and decide about the convenience of exhibiting as a poster.

If the speaker wishes the Power Point presentation to be included in the material handed out to participants, it must be sent through the web page, through the corresponding section, at least 10 days before the start of the Congress.

 
Specific Rules - Poster communications Print E-mail

The dimensions of the poster will be 120 cm. high by 90 cm. wide.

The poster must be legible from 2 metres. The recommended minimum letter size is 22.

Posters must be placed in the space assigned for this purpose, before 17:00 pm hours on 5 May 2010.

If the speaker wishes the contents of the poster to be included in the material handed out to participants, it must be sent via the web page, through the corresponding section, in Power Point format (maximum 6 slides), at least 10 days before the start of the congress.

The Organization would appreciate the incorporation at the foot of the poster of a plastic cover with copies of the Poster in A4 format, available for those attending the Congress.
